Katalon Cloud is our online storage solution for users of Katalon Platform. It is designed to help users publish their test cases instantly without having to set up a Git repository.

This addition ensures teams have a seamless, collaborative experience between test automation teams.

About Katalon Cloud

Katalon Cloud is an online, single-opt in storage solution for all new projects on Katalon Platform. It functions like a repository that you can store, manage, and execute tests from.

Katalon Cloud comes as a default space you can choose to publish your projects to in addition to your current repositories. Free to use for all users with no limits nor quota, you can create as many projects or publish as many tests to it as you like.

Note:

Katalon Cloud currently supports storage, management, and execution of Katalon Cloud Studio (Beta) tests in the latest release of Katalon TestOps.

Katalon Cloud cannot be duplicated and saved as a new repository.

How to access Katalon Cloud

Note:

• The contents of your Katalon Cloud will follow your project settings. For example, if you delete your project, then it will be deleted on the cloud too.

Katalon Cloud can be viewed in the Test Explorer under Test Cases and Test Suites. It is also displayed as a default option when you publish a test case.

1. From the Katalon Platform homepage, go to the project you are working on.
   
   1. This brings you to your dashboard.
2. From the dashboard, click the Tests tab.
   
   1. This brings you to your Draft Test Cases.
3. From the Test Cases Explorer, go to the sidebar on the left and click Katalon Cloud. This is where all the published test cases will be stored/organized in.
   
   • Alternatively, you can also navigate to the Test Suites tab and view your test suites on Katalon Cloud.
   

You are now viewing your published test cases or test suites on Katalon Cloud Studio (Beta).

How to publish to Katalon Cloud

Publishing your test case allows other users working on the same project to collaborate. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Create a draft test case if you haven't done so yet. To learn how, read this: Create a draft test case.
2. From your draft test case screen, click on the Publish button.
   
3. A Publish Test Case window pops up. Select Katalon Cloud as your repository.
   
4. Select the location where you would like to publish to. It is placed in test-cases by default.
   
   1. Type the name of your test case in the Test Case Name section below.
   2. Click Publish.
5. A pop-up on the top right side of the screen will notify you that your test case has been published successfully.
   

Your test case is now published to Katalon Cloud under your preferred folder.
